A Musical Week - Aladdin at Newlands

A week of Middle School Musicals began with a wonderful production of Aladdin at our Newlands Campus. The Years 7 and 8 students, under the astute direction of Paul Torok, Rowena McDowell and Rachael Taberner, brought the City of Enchantment (Agrabah) to life. It was a great ensemble performance but Christopher McEvoy (Aladdin) and Ashlee Green (Jasmine) were outstanding and Victoria Kordos as Genie was superb. Over 50 students were involved in the show which highlighted the great depth of dramatic talent at Newlands.
