Music

A Pleasant Sunday Afternoon music concert at the end of winter has become a Haileybury tradition.  The 2009 event in the David Bradshaw Chapel featured some of Haileybury's finest musicians demonstrating the depth of talent and the breadth of musical offerings.  Strings, piano, choirs, classical guitar and a range of brass and woodwind soloists and ensembles created exactly the right environment for a pleasant Sunday afternoon.  One of the pleasures of being involved in education is watching young people grow and develop their skills as they move through the school years.  Alan Cook (bassoon), Jesse Liang (guitar), Rohan Dasika (double bass), Nisha Dutta (oboe) and Rowan Robinson (oboe) are all final-year students who performed, at one of their last Haileybury concerts, with poise and grace.  The afternoon concert was aptly named.
