Omar Ammache, Year 7 student from Newlands, has been offered a three-month trial at the Brazilian Football Club, Clube Atlético Mineiro (CAM). Omar impressed the coaching staff at the club during the Australian Football Skool (AFS) Rep Team’s recent visit to South America.
Coaching staff at CAM were impressed by Omar’s technical ability, attitude to training and high ability to effectively use both feet.
If during this three-month trial, Omar maintains the same level and commitment he demonstrated during the two weeks he recently spent at Atlético, he will be offered a place in CAM's U13 team and will have all the rights and privileges as any other Brazilian boy in that team.
